As technology constantly changes, trust and estate practitioners must pivot to learn and understand how technology impacts a client’s estate.  The Technology Committee’s mission is to help members of the Probate and Trust Law Section stay informed and educated about technological advancements and to provide a center where technology and its benefits and disadvantages can be discussed and debated.  With the introduction of ChatGPT and the normalization of artificial intelligence earlier this year, the Technology Committee explored the present and future uses of artificial intelligence in the estate planning and administration practice, along with the ethical implications of incorporating artificial intelligence into an estates practice.
