The Publications Committee produces a thrice-yearly newsletter for the Philadelphia Probate and Trust Law Section. The newsletter includes articles on a wide variety of topics that impact the trusts and estates practice in Philadelphia. Subject matters include reports on developments in tax laws, updates to Pennsylvania laws, new and interesting judicial opinions, and matters more specific to estates and trust practice in Pennsylvania, such as revisions to local rules or guardianship procedures. Typically, each issue also includes a column on ethical issues relating to the practice. Members of the Committee participate in meetings to brainstorm ideas for articles and to identify authors to contribute content for the newsletter.

The Committee meets three times during the calendar year to discuss topics relevant to the Section, which turn into articles for three Newsletters published each winter, spring and fall. We invite Section members to join us at our meetings or to otherwise provide suggestions for articles and welcome authors who wish to contribute an article – long or short.
