This Committee oversees the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Membership Scholarship of the Family Law Section. This includes but is not limited to receiving applications for, promoting, and selecting the recipients of the scholarship along with managing the receipt of donations for the scholarship through the Bar Association. Each scholarship pays the annual Philadelphia Bar Association and Family Law Section membership fees for a new attorney from an underrepresented group. DISC is comprised of the chairs of the Family Law Section's Diversity and Outreach Committees along with three additional members selected by said chairs. Each member will serve a two-year term.
Applications for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Membership Scholarship are being accepted throughout all of 2024.
