The Adoption Committee addresses all aspects of the adoption process, coordinates programming, reviews and comments upon proposed legislation affecting adoption, reviews and discusses proposed current adoption procedure and practice, updates members on new case law affecting adoption practice, and assists practitioners with issues or problems that might arise in their practice regarding adoption matters.

The Committee Meetings are on an “as needed” basis and largely focused around upcoming programming. The Committee has an active email chain wherein members circulate topics for discussion and brainstorm cases, procedure and evolving law.
