Philadelphia Bar Association Issues Statement in Memory of Former Pennsylvania State Supreme Court Justice Sandra Schultz Newman

The Philadelphia Bar Association issued a statement in memory of former Pennsylvania State Supreme Court Judge Sandra Schultz Newman who died February 2. Newman was the first elected female justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. She was elected to the Supreme Court in 1995, serving until 2006.

The Young Lawyers Division and Temple LEAP program are looking for volunteers to serve as judges for the annual city mock trial competition through the end of February. Judges, lawyers, paralegals and law students welcome!
