Martina's Trattoria

While on Absecon Island (Margate, Ventnor, Longport, Atlantic City) hoagies and pizza are easy to find and can be quite good. Where do you go when you fancy a more upscale brunch or dinner? There are some finer restaurants on the Island, but the selection is limited. Now comes Martina’s Trattoria in Ventnor to add to that list. Martina’s opened on March 24 of this year and it offers a lovely menu, prepared excellently. My Trusted Companion and I, together with our Trusted Granddaughter had the good fortune of grabbing a last minute reservation (which is a challenge). We had a wonderful meal.

Welcome Judge Marchetti-Burry

This spring, the Philadelphia Workers’ Compensation Office of Adjudication welcomed a new judge to the bench: The Honorable Erica Marchetti-Burry. Many, including myself, have had the opportunity to get to know Judge Marchetti-Burry from her days in private practice, as well as her involvement in our section over the years.
