First Judicial District CLOSED Today Except Critical Services

All courts and offices of the Philadelphia Courts will be CLOSED today due to inclement weather. All critical services are expected to remain operational including Municipal Court's Arraignment Court, Bail Acceptance, and the filing of emergency Protection from Abuse Petitions at the Stout Center for Criminal Justice, 1301 Filbert St.

Bar Association Leadership Holds 2024 Retreat

The Philadelphia Bar Association Board of Governors approved several nominations for 2024 leadership at its January 12 meeting and retreat. Chancellor Jen Coatsworth also made appointments to her cabinet and to the Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention.
