WHEREAS, Janice Jackson was a valued employee of the Philadelphia Bar Association and Philadelphia Bar Foundation since 2015; and

WHEREAS, Janice Jackson served the Association with warmth, dedication and professionalism as Membership Services Assistant, working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure every member’s experience was seamless and welcoming; and

WHEREAS, Janice Jackson was a beloved and valued co-worker and friend, always ready with a helping hand, a kind word, a quick joke, or a proud photo of her family; and

WHEREAS, Janice Jackson was a three-time cancer survivor, exhibiting grit and toughness, and never failing to show up and give her best, no matter what challenges she may have been facing; and

WHEREAS, Janice Jackson was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, as well as a passionate animal lover and advocate; and

WHEREAS, through her presence and contributions, Janice Jackson helped to make the Philadelphia Bar Association a stronger and more compassionate organization; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association, on behalf of the Association’s staff and entire membership, extends its heartfelt condolences to Janice Jackson’s family and friends on their loss; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Philadelphia Bar Association adopts this Resolution in recognition of the exceptional character and impactful contributions of Janice Jackson as a beloved co-worker, friend and colleague; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be presented to Janice Jackson’s family in recognition of her exemplary life and work.
