Homeless Advocacy Project: Helping Clients Find Peace and Security

HAP has successfully represented more than 2,800 disabled individuals – homeless people or at risk of becoming homeless -- on their claims for federal SSI benefits. HAP has maintained a 98% success rate with an average processing time of approximately 58 days from application filing to decision. This sharply contrasts to claims filed outside of HAP’s SOAR Project, which can take 18-24 months from application until administrative hearing decision and are often denied.

Philadelphia VIP: Teaming Up for Client Success

Although we each had experience litigating large commercial disputes, this slip and fall case was a bit outside our comfort zone. Relying on teamwork and the countless resources provided by VIP, we offered our help.
