YIKES! (2026) Common Mistakes Lawyers Make in Practicing in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania

Program Originally Presented Thursday, April 2, 2026

There isn’t one right way to be a lawyer.  It is called the “practice of law” for a reason.  Despite trying their best, however, lawyers make mistakes. In this CLE program, Judges of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania along with civil practitioners will address the most common mistakes encountered. The discussion will include compliance with the local civil rules and the judges’ policies and procedures, as well as advice, guidance and tips on how to avoid making common mistakes. This program is the 2026 edition of the highest attended annually anticipated CLE presentation for the committee.

Attend this program for an examination of the dos and don'ts of compliance with local civil rules and judicial policies along with tips on how to avoid the most common mistakes for successful practice in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
