This CLE program will explore the current status of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues, focused on the “E.” What is the state of ESG under the current administration and how has enforcement changed? Panelists will review the increase in state environmental regulatory action and the role of private litigation. Panelists also examine environmental marketing claims and pitfalls to avoid when making ESG public statements and “green” marketing claims. Finally, panelists evaluate how international regulatory compliance is impacting U.S. business practices.
