Emergency Relief Needed! The Nuts & Bolts of Preliminary Injunctions and Temporary Restraining Orders in the EDPAs

Program originally presented Tuesday, December 16, 2025

Preliminary Injunctions and Temporary Restraining Orders (TROs) are extraordinary relief available to litigants in the federal court systems. Careful consideration should be given to the showing required to obtain a TRO or preliminary injunction, and the burdens that come with seeking this relief.

This CLE program addresses how to seek or oppose emergency relief, including best practices for court filings, arguments, and preparation. Panelists will explore everything from the initial filings for preliminary injunctions or TROs through the grant or denial of relief.

Attend this CLE program to enhance your understanding of TROs and preliminary injunctions, equipping yourself with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively advocate for clients in urgent legal situations.
