A Primer on Birth Injury Litigation
Program Originally Presented Thursday, August 21, 2025

Childbirth is one of the most miraculous and complex of the life-events experienced throughout our human existence. Though mothers and babies are “built” to withstand childbirth, injuries do occur. Immediately following, we question what occurred, why, and was it preventable?

This continuing legal education program is focused on the basics of birth injury litigation in Pennsylvania, including issues of substantive law and procedural rules in civil cases. The panelists will guide the audience members through the core elements and events of a birth injury case as well as, offer practical tips and insider knowledge. The program will conclude with a description of maternal morbidity and mortality in the context of birth injury/trauma.

Attend this primer CLE program to receive practical guidance before handling your first or next birth injury case.
