Evidence Update, Visual Proof in Courtroom and Trial Advocacy Tips

Program originally presented Thursday, November 16, 2023

Exhibits/visual proof are useful at trial to educate jurors. They may serve to summarize large amounts of information or to amplify a lawyer’s arguments. Demonstrative evidence comes in many forms, be it in the physical presence, or in the form of a technological presentation. Many jurors in the courtroom employ all of their senses to understand and analyze the facts of the case they are required to decide.

This one-hour criminal law evidence review will address recent Pennsylvania Supreme Court decisions, evidence issues, and issues pertaining to the use of visual evidence in court. Featured speaker, Professor Jules Epstein, will also incorporate trial advocacy tips while examining these issues.

Attend to hear an evidence update, trial advocacy tips, and issues with visual evidence presented in the courtroom.

Featured Speaker:
Professor Jules Epstein
Edward D. Ohlbaum Professor of Law
Director of Advocacy Programs
Temple University Beasley School of Law
