Driver License Suspension Appeals --- Step-by-Step

Program originally presented Wed., August 23, 2023

There are numerous reasons a driver’s license might be suspended by Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). Section 1550(a) of the Vehicle Code (Title 75) permits a person to appeal a PennDOT suspension to the Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. While overturning a license suspension through PennDOT is a difficult challenge, there may be some benefits under certain circumstances to filing an appeal.

From the moment you meet your client through concluding the matter, this CLE program, taught by a former PennDOT attorney, will guide you step-by-step through a driver license suspension case, including civil trials, administrative proceedings and appeals from trial court orders.

This program will highlight the following:

  • Assessing a license suspension case
  • Choosing the proper course of action
  • Post-litigation considerations
  • Ethical considerations

Attend this program and receive a practical handout and guidance to walk you through Pennsylvania license suspension matters.

Featured Speaker:
Marc A. Werlinsky, Esq.
Former Assistant Counsel, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation
