Shattering the Glass Ceiling: Successful Women Leaders Share Their Experiences and Advice on Finding and Creating Paths to Greatness

Program originally presented Friday, March 31, 2023

“In the future, there will be no female leaders. There will just be leaders.” – Sheryl Sandberg

Over the years, women have made many advancements in the legal profession, but this progress is still ongoing. Some women have managed to “shatter the glass ceiling.” But, in fact, women continue to encounter many challenges on their paths to leadership and success in this historically male-dominated field. Please join us as we celebrate Women’s History Month with a panel discussion featuring amazing women leaders from the Philadelphia legal community.

These leaders will offer guidance and insight on:

  • Their paths to leadership in their particular areas of law
  • Strategies to become a leader in the firm and in the legal profession
  • Tools and tips to advance one's legal career and overcome obstacles, including combatting bias
  • Approaches to create a work-life balance
  • How to support the professional development of other women in the law by being advocates, mentors, and sponsors
  • What still needs to be done to continue to improve the legal profession for women

Attend this program to hear from women in the legal profession who have reached successful leadership positions that may serve as examples to empower other women to strive to reach their professional goals.
