Evidence Through the Movies

Program originally presented Tuesday, February 28, 2023

Popular legal culture provides important insights into widely held attitudes and beliefs about law, lawyers, and legal processes. Although movies and videos often fail to portray courtroom trials accurately, much can be learned about serious evidentiary principles.

Retired Judge Mark I. Bernstein and experience trial attorney Larry Bendesky will teach evidence through the delightful (and instructive) method of explication through movie clips.  The program will examine the most common evidentiary issues attorneys may encounter. Attendees will hear guidance and learn strategies on how and when to make evidentiary objections. This course will be both instructive and entertaining.

The law of evidence is essential for nearly every attorney. Attend this instructive and entertaining CLE program and learn evidence principles through the movies.
