This important and practical CLE program will provide attendees with tools and information regarding when and how to address bullying and harassment in the workplace, their own lives and for others.  Panelists will examine the following:

  • The importance of Professional Rule of Responsibility 8.4(g) and its path from inception through becoming a Rule, the dual Greenberg challenges, and the current amici briefs
  • The intersection between bullying, harassment and employment law and when the EEOC needs to be involved
  • An analysis of what constitutes defamation and possible remedies
  • How to address bullying and harassment in schools and when legal action can be taken
  • How and why combatting bias and supporting allyship and inclusion makes a difference
