Understanding the Uninsured World: How to Manage and Handle an Uninsured Case

Program Originally Presented Friday, November 19, 2021

Most attorneys and judges who have handled workers compensation litigation for any length of time in Pennsylvania have been involved in some way in an “uninsured” case.  It is evident that the workers compensation system is challenged more and more by the growing number of claims where the employer is uninsured or has insurance coverage issues.

This practical CLE program offers the practicing attorney (as well as the workers compensation judges):

  • A basic outline of the requirements to insure
  • Guidance on the ramifications of the failure to insure
  • Introduction to the statutes and the unique and “necessary to know” caselaw that has developed in this area
  • Thoughts, experiences, and recommendations in litigating an uninsured claim from start to finish

This important encore program is a MUST for anyone, who even by accident, finds themselves in the middle of an “uninsured” case!
