Eyewitness testimony is arguably the most compelling evidence presented in criminal trials. Eyewitness testimony can be powerful but is, too often, wrong. This CLE will provide criminal law practitioners with a legal/evidentiary update on eyewitness issues in criminal cases and will further address the science and psychology behind problems with eyewitness identification. Attendees will also receive practical examples on how to approach and litigate eyewitness issues that arise in criminal cases from both sides of the aisle.
