The June 14 event featured the authors of a new American Bar Association report on how attorneys were impacted by the pandemic and best practices for moving forward.
The report, “Practicing Law in the Pandemic and Moving Forward: Results and Best Practices from a Nationwide Survey of the Legal Profession,” is the result of a survey of 4,200 American Bar Association members. It found that the need to work remotely during COVID-19 has caused high levels of stress and disengagement among lawyers, with these impacts disproportionately falling on women attorneys and attorneys of color.

Epps, executive vice president and provost at?Temple University, and?Karyn Polak, senior vice president and general counsel at?Transamerica, to?discuss best practices as individual attorneys and firms prepare to emerge from a period of major disruption. The discussion was moderated by Jennifer Coatsworth, partner at?Margolis Edelstein?and assistant treasurer of the?Philadelphia Bar Association.
