Submissions are now being accepted for the Philadelphia Bar Association's 2018 Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg "Pursuit of Justice" Legal Writing Competition. Law review-quality submissions may be on any topic relating to rights, privileges and responsibilities under federal law. The first place award winner will receive a $2,500 cash prize and publication in The Philadelphia Lawyer magazine and on the Association's website. The award will be presented at an Association event.
The competition is open to full-time and part-time law students in their second or third year at one of the following institutions: Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, University of Pennsylvania Law School, Rutgers School of Law - Camden, Temple University Beasley School of Law, Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and Widener University Delaware Law School. Part-time law students in their third or later year of study are also eligible.
