Following the announcement of Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Seamus P. McCaffery’s retirement today, William P. Fedullo, Chancellor of the 13,000-member Philadelphia Bar Association, issued the following statement:
"In light of today's announcement, we hope this matter can now be put behind us so the Court can move forward with its work of dispensing justice, and public confidence in the judiciary and the rule of law can be preserved."
