As part of the Family Law Section's continuing dedication to improve attorney professionalism and competence, Family Law Section members have instituted an Attorney Mentoring Program in which an attorney inexperienced in the area of Family Law can consult with an experienced Family Law attorney for guidance and support.

Section members recognize that more experienced attorneys have much wisdom and can provide needed guidance to help new practitioners gain important expertise and avoid practice problems. The program recognizes that inexperienced firm practitioners are often reluctant to seek help and thereby appear ignorant or deficient to the senior attorneys in their firm and that inexperienced solo practitioners may have an even greater need for professional guidance.

Participants are needed in this program. To join the program, either as Mentee or Mentor, go to the Family Law Section homepage and complete the online form.
