Philadelphia Bar Association Chancellor Ezra Wohlgelernter released the following statement in memory of Jason Daria, president of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association (PTLA) and a shareholder at Feldman Shepherd Wohlgelernter Tanner Weinstock Dodig LLP. Daria passed away on February 14.

A member of the Philadelphia Bar Association since 1994, Daria spent 22 years at Feldman Shepherd, where he focused his practice on complex civil litigation involving motor vehicle and trucking accidents, construction accidents, premises and product liability, personal injury and medical malpractice. Daria’s work on behalf of his clients resulted in safety improvements to roads and highways throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including several cases that led to upgrades of the intersections and pedestrian crossings on Roosevelt Boulevard. Daria was also a longtime volunteer, board member and former board president for the Legal Clinic for the Disabled.

“Jason Daria was a valued partner and shareholder at Feldman Shepherd, but most importantly he was a beloved colleague, friend, husband and father,” Wohlgelernter said. “He bravely fought a long battle with cancer while continuing to vigorously defend his clients and working for the betterment of the legal professional through his leadership of the PTLA. His practice focused on motor vehicle and trucking accidents, and he pursued justice for his clients with an eye toward making roads and crossings safer for everyone, drivers and pedestrians alike. He will be greatly missed.”
