Ballots for 2025 Philadelphia Bar Association elections were emailed to all members in good standing on Monday, November 24.
Participating in the elections is your chance to have a say in the future leadership of our community. Use this guide to make an informed decision and cast your ballot:
Who is running for office?
Board of Governors (five open seats): Joyce Adelugba, Paul Carrion, Brenda Harkavy, Candice Kearney, Thu Lam, Jesse Smith
Young Lawyers Executive Committee (seven open seats): Julia Boland, Mark Fuchs, Damali Martin, Brandon Millinghausen, Niayla-Dia Murray, Isabella Pantano, Mark Schork, Beatrice Dolly Segal

How will I get my ballot?
Ballots were sent out via email Monday, November 24 on behalf of the Association by Intelliscan Inc., an independent election services provider.
What else will be on my ballot?
A proposed amended version of the Philadelphia Bar Association bylaws were adopted by the Board of Governors at the September 16, 2025, meeting (pursuant to Section 12.1.1.1 of the current bylaws) and are being submitted to the membership per Section 12.1.2. The amended bylaws will be presented to the membership for approval as part of our regular elections, pursuant to Section 12.1.2.1.

How can I make sure my ballot doesn't end up in my Spam or Junk folders?
Ask your email administrator/provider to whitelist this domain name: intelliscanvotes.com.

What do I do if I don't get my ballot?
Call us at (215) 238-6300 if you don't receive your ballot.
Someone forwarded me a link to vote in Bar Elections – can I use it?
No. The only way to vote is through the link to your online ballot sent by Intelliscan, or with the paper ballot that was mailed to you (if you do not have an email address.)
I have colleagues who aren't members who want to vote – can they?
You must be an Association member in good standing to vote. The deadline to join in time to receive a ballot was Friday, November 21.
When is the deadline for voting?
All ballots must be cast by Wednesday, December 10 at 5:30 p.m. Winners and the results of the bylaws vote will be announced during the reception at the Annual Meeting.
