PHILADELPHIA, PA - This year, CORA Services honored the Philadelphia Bar Association at their signature event, 2025 Love in Action Celebration, on Thursday, November 20, 2025. At this annual event, CORA recognizes individuals and organizations who have selflessly dedicated their time, talent, voice, and resources to empowering families, transforming communities, and effecting positive and lasting change.
For more than two centuries, the Philadelphia Bar Association has been a cornerstone of justice and community engagement in the city. Its longstanding commitment to pro bono service and advancing equity has had a lasting impact on families and children across the region.
“CORA is especially grateful for the Bar Association’s collaboration with our Good Shepherd Mediation division through the Philadelphia Eviction Diversion Program,” said Samantha Angelone, director of development at CORA. “Together, our teams have helped countless families avoid displacement by facilitating fair, solutions-oriented mediation between landlords and tenants — a vital service that keeps families housed and communities stable.
