More about Christie R. Jones
Jones served as the executive director of IAWJ since 2021, growing membership by 81% during her tenure, securing a multi-year $2.5 million grant from the Gates Foundation, and planned and executed three international conferences that attracted more than 3,000 members and 150 key stakeholders.
“As the daughter of a Philadelphia lawyer and someone who was born here in the City, the mission of the Philadelphia Bar Association is tremendously important to me and critical at a time when individual rights and access to justice are under attack,” Jones said. “The rule of law and lawyers’ rights to practice their trade are paramount. I grew up in a home that taught me that, and I'm thrilled to be part of an organization that stands for that."
A graduate of George Mason University and Bennett College, Jones previously served as deputy director of the Center for Infrastructure Protection and Homeland Security and has also been an adjunct lecturer at the American University School of International Service.
