Ballots for 2024 Philadelphia Bar Association elections will be emailed this coming MondayNovember 25.

Participating in the elections is your chance to have a say in the future leadership of our community. Use the guide below to make an informed decision and cast your ballot:

Who is running for office?

There are 12 candidates for seven seats on the YLD Executive Committee: Hermione Cadet, Abigail Gustafson, Brooke Hurlbrink, Adam Leasure, Margaret MacDonald, Brandon Millinghausen, Audrey Melli-Mirza, Ryan Murphy, Elizabeth Perez, Rachel Sorrentino, Charnae Supplee, and Ashley Taragna

Aren't there other open positions?

Yes – the following candidates are running uncontested for their positions. They will not be included on your official ballot, but you can learn more about them here.

Vice Chancellor: Kristine Calalang

Secretary: Karima Yelverton

Assistant Secretary: Melanie Foreman

Treasurer: Erin Lamb

Assistant Treasurer: Josh Byrne

Board of Governors: Lakeisha Fields, Rhonda Fulginiti, Kevin Levy, and Gabrielle Outlaw

How will I get my ballot?

Ballots will be sent out via email Monday, November 25 on behalf of the Association by Intelliscan Inc., an independent election services provider.  

How can I make sure my ballot doesn't end up in my Spam or Junk folders?

Ask your email administrator/provider to whitelist this domain name: intelliscanvotes.com.

You should also ask your administrator or provider to whitelist the following IP addresses: 

50.56.130.220/30 (US & CA)
207.97.204.96/29 (US & CA)
146.20.14.104/30 (US & CA)

What do I do if I don't get my ballot?

Call us at (215) 238-6300 if you don't receive your ballot.

Someone forwarded me a link to vote in Bar Elections – can I use it?

No. The only way to vote is through the link to your online ballot sent by Intelliscan, or with the paper ballot that was mailed to you (if you do not have an email address.)

I have colleagues who aren't members or aren't in the Young Lawyers Division who want to vote – can they? 

You must be an Association member in good standing and a member of the Young Lawyers Division to vote. All Association members who are under age 40 or who have been in practice less than three years are automatically members of the YLD. 

When is the deadline for voting?

All ballots must be cast by Tuesday, December 10 at 5:30 p.m.Winners will be announced during the reception at the Annual Meeting. Want to join us at the Annual Meeting? Register here
